The
average man lasts 7-10 minutes during sex. Not bad considering the
average man with premature ejaculation holds out for only 24 seconds.
Tricks to last longer? There aren't any, according to Norman Rees,
consultant clincial psychologist at the Australian Centre for Sexual
Health. "Forget the techniques, such as making circular motions
or 'pinch and squeeze'," he advises. The most important thing is
to fully relax. First you have to recognise what's causing the tensions
that's responsible for the premature ejaculation. Is it your performance
anxiety or your partner's response, for instance? Then you have
to try to overcome it by concentrating on the pleasant feelings.
It can be quite difficult to tackle the problem along so talk to
a suitable doctor or therapist in that field.
